The merchandise performance features will help you drill down through the information and discover the performance of your departments, manufacturers and even a specific merchandise item.

Department / Manufacturer Profitability

You will use this tool to compare your merchandise departments and manufacturers over a specific timeframe. You can also compare these figures to a prior period, to last year, the year before that, and the third year prior. In this example, we are looking at the profitability of our merchandise departments for the month of July 2007 and comparing it to the prior month (June 2007).

In the next example, we are looking at our manufacturers and comparing them within the same timeframe.

Merchandise Sale History

This tool shows you the month-by-month performance of your merchandise items. You can select what items to view and the timeframe.

You will see the number sold, the revenue, the cost, the profit in dollars, and the profit in a percent.
