Clients
Your clients (customers)
are the life-blood of your business. When you learn as much as you can from your
experience with these people, you gain greater customer satisfaction and higher
profits.
Taking good care
of your clients is why you need Solis. Solis gives you things like: email marketing,
client notes, shared tanning packages, tanning history, sale history, package history,
membership history, and EFT’s for membership fees. Let’s face it, without the latest
tools for the industry, you may be just handing over your clients to your competitor.
Let’s
take a look inside the client editor window. This is where you can access the bulk
of your client information. The first thing you may notice is that we maintain a
“Join” and a “Current” photo of your clients. This is a good way to show your clients
the results they are getting with your fantastic services.
You will notice that
Solis contains two fields for the client Email address: home and work. During your
Email marketing, you can select which Email address (or both) to send your message.
Notice that the there is a flag to exclude the client from any Email marketing.
The Fitzpatrick Skin Type Scale
The Fitzpatrick Skin
Type scale is available for each client and asks a series of questions to determine
the skin type of your client. This information, naturally, is useful when consulting
clients on what type of bed, duration, and type of lotion to use to achieve the
optimum results.
EFTs
If your business
is doing memberships where there is a recurring fee every month, than the billing
section of the client editor will be a nice surprise for you. As you can see in
the enlarged image, your clients can set up multiple bill sources that include credit
cards and EFT (checking or savings accounts). This credit card/EFT information is
saved in Solis and is stored with a sophisticated encryption method.
Release Forms
Release forms are
a necessity to the tanning industry in almost every State. Solis provides you an
editor to insert your custom release form or you can use one of the forms that are
included in the software. When you add a new client to Solis, the system automatically
prints out a release form for your customer to sign.
Solis will also prompt your
clerk to get a new release form signed by your client at specific intervals (you
set up the time frame). For instance, you may require a release form signed every
year or every six months. Whatever the time frame, Solis will prompt your clerk
automatically.

Sharing Packages
Sharing packages
amongst clients has been a difficult chore, until Solis hit the scene. Sharing a
tanning package with another client is as easy as a few clicks of the mouse. Simply
pull up the client, and point to the client you want to share with.
Now, some might
say wait a minute you need a release form. Well that is true. In Solis, you can
share a tanning package with another existing client (within the system). That means
that client has his/her own release forms on file.

Tanning History
Tanning history is
vital to the salon owner to show the client exactly how his or her points / sessions
/ minutes have been used. How many times have you heard, “I don’t remember using
all those minutes” from a client?
Now you can simply bring up the tanning history
and show the client exactly how their time was spent. If you have allowed clients
to share tanning packages, the name of the other person will appear on the history
line as well.

Sale History
Sale history will
show all the merchandise, services, packages, and memberships your client has purchased.
All of the transaction information is saved: date, time, computer, employee, store
number, type of sale, id number, description of the item sold, quantity, price,
and even the payment method with amounts.
Package History
Another tab available
off the client window is the package history. This window will show all the packages
this client has purchased with you and contains all the package information: date
purchased, the type (points / sessions / minutes), description of the package, when
the package expires, total units, units used, active status, whether it is sharable,
and the last time the package was used by the client.
