Services
Selling and tracking the profit performance of your services has just gotten easier
with Solis. And whether your company does hair, nails, massage, or other spa services,
they all fit nicely right into Solis.
The first order of business is to categorize your services. The reason for
this is so you can quickly see how a profit center (category) is performing. How
many sales, what type of profit, and so on. While in this example we have three
examples of categories, you can create as many as you need to fit your business.
You may have noticed a field labeled “Average Duration”. This field is used when
scheduling appointments for your clients. This value is what is placed in the appointment
book. Naturally, if you want to book a longer appointment than the average, you
can simply adjust the duration at the time of booking the appointment.
And, if your appointment “No Shows”, Solis keeps track of the no shows for each
of your clients.

Performers
In Solis, the term we use for your team members that perform a service is ”Performers”.
With each service you create, you assign which of your team members can perform
the task. This makes booking appointments super easy since only the performers that
can do this task show up on the calendar.
And when you sell services to your clients, the performers name appears on the receipt
so there is never a question as to who provided the service.
